| Properties have been prepared for your arrival and guests are required to properly clean before they depart. If you are unable to we can be arrange it for you at a charge of €15 per hour. Please tell Marion by mid week to arrange this. A charge will be deducted from the security deposit if properties are not left clean. |
| Booking Conditions |
| Please
read the following terms and conditions. Receipt of your booking and payment
will be deemed as acceptance of such. The Role of Breton Country Cottages (BCC) BCC is agency acting on behalf of the owners of the property and are not principals. The Contract of Hire (The Contract) is between the hirer and the owner. All our properties have been visited and
inspected to conform to our own high standards of comfort and amenity.
However, it is not within the remit of BCC to carry out a health and safety
inspection and further we cannot be responsible for the actions of individuals
outside our employ. BCC maintain close links with the owners and in most
instances minor problems can be quickly solved. The rental period shall commence at 16.00
on the first day of the holiday and finish at 10.00 on the last day. The
owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time
stated and the hirer shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after
the time stated. 6

the owner or BCC can re-let the property a refund will be made less the
25% deposit and any expenses incurred. The hirer agrees not to act in any way that would cause disturbance or offence to those resident in the neighbourhood. The hirer shall report to the owner (or BCC) without delay any defects in the property or breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the house, garden or swimming pool. The hirer agrees not to smoke in areas designated as ‘no smoking’ (which may be the whole property). Any damage caused by or relating to the act of smoking within the duration of the hirers stay will be the responsibility of the signatory on the booking form and charged accordingly. The
size of the party shall not exceed the number laid down in the property
details except by prior arrangement. All our properties are comfortably furnished with provision of all bedding and kitchen appliances suitable for a self-catering holiday. Some properties appeal to simpler tastes whilst many are equipped with Bar-B-Q’s, sports and games equipment, TV, internet connection etc. BCC makes every effort to ensure that the property description is correct at the time of making the booking. However, minor breakages do occur. When notified arrangements will be made for repair and/or replacement as soon as possible. Unless otherwise stated, the rental includes all local rates, property insurance, electricity and water. Heating is not generally available for summer lets. In
the event of an emergency (medical, car breakdown, theft etc.) BCC is
available to advise and assist in any way possible. BCC and the Owner shall not be liable for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, garden or swimming pool. For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period. In such an event, however, every effort shall be made to provide alternative accommodation of a similar standard or a full refund of sums previously paid made. We
strongly recommend that the hirer takes out holiday insurance, which includes
accident cover and cancellation expenses. In the event of a dispute arising between the hirer and the owner, which cannot be resolved locally, any litigation arising will be under the jurisdiction of the owner’s country of residence. Under
no circumstances will the owner’s liability to the hirer exceed
the total amount paid to the owner for the rental period. |
